Fun on Fall Break

Friday we went to Meers for one of their famous Meersburgers and Peach Cobbler.  Don't go to Meers Store & Restaurant for their service because you will be very disappointed.  The burgers are really good and they are made with Longhorn beef which is really low in fat, but the peach cobbler is worth the drive alone.

Three of us couldn't finish this even after sharing a burger.
After lunch, we drove to the top of Mount Scott and then went to Medicine Park and walked around town. If you haven't been ever been to any of these places, you really should take a day and check it out. We love exploring new places in our own backyard (Oklahoma I mean).

Next stop...Medicine Park.  They have this path along the river that you can walk along, they had it decorated for Halloween and the kids really enjoyed it, unfortunately all the stores along the cobblestone walk were only open on the weekends so that was a little disappointing.

Saturday, Cali and I made Caramel Apples and she went horseback riding at my cousins house.  The caramel apples were really fun to make but our caramel didn't stay.  By the end of the evening it had slid right off.  It's the experience we had that is what is important, right?

We had such a good weekend, we always have alot of fun but I will have to say, this was one of the best!
